In the beach?

Have you ever player soccer in a beach? If you haven't you should try it it's really fun and you get a great workout out of it. Even though Beach soccer is not very popular in America there are some other countries where this sport is played by almost every one. Brazil and Portugal would have to be some of the countries where everyone that goes to the beach have to play soccer before they go home. There is a world cup for this sport and is celebrated every two years. In order to play this sport the players have to be really skilled with the ball since trying to score a goal without shoes, big piles of sand, and other players wanting to take the ball away from you is really challenging. Most of the time the ball is played in the air since having the ball in the sand is harder for players to run with the ball. Enjoy this compilation of goals from beach soccer!

What is Futsal?

Have you ever heard about this sport? Well futsal is soccer played mostly indoor in a hard surface which is commonly wood. The court is way smaller compared to regular size soccer fields. There are two teams which have five players on the pitch including a goalkeeper. There are unlimited substitutions and this sports is played with a smaller ball that doesn't bounce as much. I find this sports really interesting due to the smaller size of the pitch the player has to be really skilled and have a lot of control of the ball and they also have to be really creative with the plays so they can score.

Freestyle?!?!

I've been trying to publish something about freestyle soccer but I just never got the chance. If you've seen videos about the subject you know that freestyle is really entertaining, but for those of you that have never seen anything like it before I have a video for you guys. Since I discover this I've always seen a lot of good and bad guys doing tricks with the soccer ball, but I've never seen a girl do any type of tricks........ until today! When I was about to press "Play" I was expecting something normal that everyone else could do with just a little bit of practice, but OH BOY WAS I WRONG!!!! When I finished looking at the video I was mercerized and I could n't believe what I just saw, so I had to play it again and again so I could pay closer attention to the tricks. Without further due I present to you... Indie Cowie the best female freestyler! Enjoy!

Protect your self

If you never player soccer before and do not know what kind of gear is needed to play the sport, you will learn what are those things. First of all and the most important thing you need are soccer cleats. There are many different types of soccer cleats. There are some for different weather conditions and surfaces, like soft ground, firm ground, artificial, and indoor soccer shoes. The most common are the firm ground because those are easier to adjust when playing outdoors. Another important thing you need is shin guards. There are different sizes so that every person with different hight can wear them and be protected well. The last thing you need if you are the goalie is the goalie gloves. This will protect your hands from the impacts of the shots you will be receiving.

Mexico Vs. USA

A game I was waiting on for months. I was really excited for this came because I thought that both teams were going to score a lot of goals, BUT of course they tied 0-0. The game was in favor of Mexico for the most part since they had ball possession for the entire game. The score favored the USA since Mexico haven't win a game for the last three games, and the USA team recently won against Costa Rica. This game was interesting to see as well since they played in Denver and it was snowing really hard. The most interesting about this game was that the game was not stopped because of the weather. A couple of days later Cost Rica complained to FIFA about the weather and they wanted to play the game again because they said that the conditions of the game were not fair to them, but of course FIFA denied the complaint and now Costa Rica is really mad about that. If you saw other games or one of this game I would love to hear about it from you.

Spanish clasico!

This time I will talk about probably the game that every one was waiting for. Yes! you guessed it right. The Barcelona v.s. Real Madrid game for a spot in the final for the Copa del Rey. It was a very good game overall even though my favorite team lost. The score was 3-1 in favor to Real Madrid which in my opinion the first goal shouldn't have been awarded to them, since the ref called a penalty kick which if you see the replay the Barcelona player (Pique) did NOT touch Cristiano Ronaldo. Second goal was a good goal I'm not going to lie and the third goal was a very good goal scored by Raphael Varane which is a French player who is only 19 years old! The third goal came from a corner kick where Raphael jumped and headed the ball in to the net. I've seen this player a couple of times before and he is pretty good for his age, but I know that next time Barcelona will keep him under close supervision so he doesn't score against them again. Without any further due I will put the highlights and goals of the game! Enjoy!

I'm back!

Hey guys, I hope you are doing good. Let's stat right away with today's blog which is about free kicks in soccer! First of all let me explain in my own words what a free kick is for the people that doesn't watch soccer or doesn't know anything about the sport. A free kick is awarded when a player(s) from a team commit a foul against one of the player from the other team. This is called a free kick and can only be given if the foul was not committed inside the penalty area. If it was committed inside the penalty area then is a penalty kick and not a free kick, but we'll talk about penalty kicks some other time. Usually free kicks are really fun to watch since your team or the opposing team has a chance to score directly. If you used to play soccer, play or just watch soccer on TV you know that this can be very exciting, especially if you score the goal or your favorite team does it. Today I will be showing you a video of some of the best free kicks in the world made by professional soccer players.

Enjoy & thanks for reading!

First blog ever!

Hi thanks for reading my first blog ever. I hope that you like the content that I will be posting in here. If you have any questions please write back. In case you want to know more about the sport hit me up, I'll try to answer your questions even though I'm not a guru but I'm getting close to it. lol I will try to watch more soccer games so I can write about them because with school I don't watch this sport as much as I used to. For now I will post the result for the Mexico vs Denmark. The game was played on January 30th on Phoenix Arizona. There was a good amount of people in the stadium, but it wasn't that many people for a Mexico game, usually they have the stadiums full of people cheering for them. It was a boring game since both teams didn't have many chances to score. They tied 1-1 and both of the goals were scored by penalty kicks because the referee messed up on both plays. There were some good plays but nothing really exciting.

I will also be posting one video related to soccer.

Enjoy!
